BEST SHIRT EVER

I’ve been selling t-shirts in one fashion or another for over fifteen years now so when I make a statement like “BEST T-SHIRTS EVER”, I’m not just whistling Dixie here.

We just started shipping some of our newest titles from the new POLITICALLY WRONG department of our web-site and I must tell you, they exceeded my expectations in so many ways.  In a bizarre turn of events, the one design of the five new ones that was my least favorite in the developmental process is now my absolute favorite.

GRAVE TRAIN is a parody of the infamous GRAVY TRAIN DOG FOOD.  The shirt features (get ready for it) a dead Dalmatian on his back next to a bowl of GRAVE TRAIN DOG FOOD.  Above him, the caption: “Your Dog Will Never Eat Anything Else.”

It’s entirely possible some people might fail to see the humor at the sight of this deceased dog.  Those are the same people who most likely never get the joke where Tom and Jerry, the Looney Toons, Monty Python, Mel Brooks or Larry David are concerned.  People like… my mother for example.  If she says it’s not funny, guess what—it’s funny.  With all due respect mom, you’re my sounding board; my comedic measuring stick of sorts.

What I love most about the shirt besides the dark, politically incorrect humor involved, is how we really nailed the vintage look of it.  It genuinely looks and feels like a shirt from 1975.  On that subject, all of the five new Wacky Packages shirts look and feel this way.  They are without question some of our BEST SHIRTS EVER.  They were culled from the very first series of Wacky Packages released from 1967 – 1973.  We will be releasing new designs from each of the subsequent series each month so get ready. The fun is just beginning.
